Environment & Sustainability

Fish is a renewable and vulnerable resource. Noumami takes this responsibility very seriously. We must contribute so that Norway and the Norwegian aquaculture sustainably manage this natural capital. It is our own interest to be friendly to the environment. We are proud to use local suppliers to reduce the overall carbon footprint, have proper disposal of waste, and made agreements with local farmers so that they can reuse the biological material in agriculture.

Pollution of the oceans is a major international problem. Therefore Noumami is a long-term contributor to the project The Ocean Clean Up. Every year we also support our local community in the effort to clean up our long and beautiful coastline.
